A pair of local organizations will host a special dinner on Sept. 14 to raise money for the family of a deceased member of the Granite Mountain Hotshots.

The groups, the D.R.E.A.M Lie-F and Eat for Equality, have organized Heaven’s Heroes a fundraising dinner at The Barn at Power Ranch in Gilbert to raise money for the family of Andrew Ashcraft, whose family was notified it would not receive equal benefits from his death, according to a press release.

The event, which runs from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., will feature a Latin-inspired meal, musical performances, a silent auction and appearances by Rep. Matt Salmon and Ashcraft’s widow, Juliann. All proceeds from the event go to support the Ashcraft family.

Tickets are $30 per person, and the Barn at Power Ranch is located at Ranch House Parkway in Gilbert. More information is available by contacting Joey Bellus at (480) 213-1210 or by visiting heavensheroesaz.com.
