The groups, the D.R.E.A.M Lie-F and Eat for Equality, have organized Heaven’s Heroes a fundraising dinner at The Barn at Power Ranch in Gilbert to raise money for the family of Andrew Ashcraft, whose family was notified it would not receive equal benefits from his death, according to a press release.
The event, which runs from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., will feature a Latin-inspired meal, musical performances, a silent auction and appearances by Rep. Matt Salmon and Ashcraft’s widow, Juliann. All proceeds from the event go to support the Ashcraft family.
