Class Descriptions

F.I.T.

Functional Interval Training is designed for every level of fitness! It doesn't matter if you're just starting or you're hard core into working out, F.I.T will be sure to challenge you and take you to a new level!

We will be focusing on several different aspects of fitness including cardiovascular, weight-lifting, balance/ stability training, and flexibility. You can expect to learn many different exercises you can incorporate at home. You will also see improved balance which helps decrease the risk of injury.  Measurements will be taken before and after the F.I.T to help promote accountability to healthy living and to see improvements which helps increase motivation. We will also cover nutrition and how to eat properly to reach your individual goals.  So if you're looking to drop a dress size, lean & tone up, or improve your strength and cardio, this is the workout for you!

Kids Fitness

The Kids Fitness program was designed to not only keep kids active, but to enhance their overall stability, coordination, balance, endurance, and fitness education. With childhood obesity rising to nearly 20% we felt that it was importnat not only to keep kids active, but to educate them about the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. The program is a fun, competitive, and challenging atmosphere upon which the kids interact in numerous drills, games, relay races, and exercises.

O.P.T. Baseball & Softball

The Optimal Performance Baseball & Softball Development Program is designed to maximize your athlete’s potential both on and off the field. The program will be a combination of strength training, speed and agility training, as well as swing analysis. The strength training aspect will be broken into cycles that are designed to reduce risk of injury, develop explosive linear and rotational power, and promote the growth of lean muscle mass. The speed and agility aspect will be designed to address the most important factors that go into your athlete’s sport demand. Lastly, the swing analysis will be broken into groups of 2-4 athletes who will spend time mastering the sequential mechanics of the swing. With the use of video analysis, we will be able to give your athletes immediate video feedback of their mechanics. This is not a cookie cutter program that will get your athlete a little better. It is a program that is dedicated to provide a service to your athletes that give them the opportunity to maximize their full potential as an individual and as an athlete.

S.T.E.P.

The goal of our S.T.E.P. program (Sports Training Enhancement Program) is to help athletes increase their power, agility, speed and strength through a battery of sport specific exercises.  This program is designed to:

Decrease chance of injury

Increase foot speed

Increase Vertical Jump

Improve agility

Improve reaction time

Improve Range of motion and increase functional flexibility

Improve hand/eye coordination

Increase athletes strength and power

Educate the players on proper nutrition and exercise technique

Sharks Training

the Goal of our Sharks program is to develop swimmers strength outside of the pool that will carry over INTO the pool.  One of our biggest goals for all of our swimmers is to build a solid foundation and increase the swimmers joint stability.  A swimmer is at a very high risk of injury in their shoulders, back and hips, due to over use and constant repetitive motion while in the water.  Through proper exercise and strength training we are able to dramatically reduce the chance of injury.  Proper strength training provides us the opportunity to develop a stronger, more explosive and powerful swimmer. This, in turn will decrease swimmers time and help them prevent injuries.

Sharks E.S.D. Training

This program was specifically designed for SWIMMERS!  Our Energy System Development program is based off of PROVEN SCIENCE (just like ALL our programs) and how our bodies’ physiological systems react to exercise.  The sharks E.S.D. program provides all the benefits of the sharks program and gets your child in the WATER with our fitness professionals and swim coaches challenging their bodies the way they should be challenged.  Through this carefully designed program your child will maximize his/her strength, power, explosiveness in the water while saving you time, money and keeping the athlete fresh YEAR ROUND!

Sports Team Training

Nothing gets a team better than when they train together. Optimal Performance Training can provide your high school, collegiate, or club team with a structured and individualized training program to enhance the abilities of your athletes on the playing field. This program is designed to develop their sport specific strength, power, speed and agility with a central focus on injury reduction. This is not a copy and paste program, it is highly structured to allow each and every athlete the opportunity to maximize their abilities within the weight room and within their realm of competition. This specific program is very unique in the fact that it gives the players and coaches an opportunity to see their players compete on another level. Each athlete working towards the betterment of the team allows for great team unity, confidence, and competitiveness. OPT is very versatile and we can adjust the program around your specific needs, there are no limits to our creativity and possibilities. A team that wins together trains together.

One on One Training

Our one on one training provides the client and the trainer a powerful space for total transformation. Whether you're training for weight loss, to improve overall health, for competition, or just to challenge your body to new heights; we can provide you with the knowledge and encouragement to succeed. Each 50 minute session will cover but not be limited to; core stability, cardiovascular capacity, strength training, injury prevention and flexibility. Nutritional guidance and education will be implemented in order to allow you with the greatest opportunity to achieve and maintain your physical goals. Our training creatively and passionately creates a space for each individual to learn and utilize the tools necessary to transform their lives and reach the goals they never thought possible.
